If you are looking for any success in anything whatsoever, beyond a mere mediocre outcome in your activities throughout your life and if you are looking to not only take yourself, but your evolution to the limit, CONSISTENCY is the name of the game. I have had the privilege of training hundreds of people in my career as in Seattle as a personal trainer and fitness coach, and I usually can tell and give a pretty good ‘guesstimation’ of the quality of success and outcome of the individual client as soon as I first see them. This is mostly based on their outlook on themselves and their life and the attitude they have toward their goals, and the ones who typically carry ‘slow vibrations’, that is the density of behavior and thought they will have to overcome in order to get out of their own way and on their road to success that is already their waiting for them. Having gone through the trenches, you think as a Coach you can somehow magically ‘CURE’ everybody with your fitness or method, but this just ends up being naive and simply just isn’t the case. You can point and show the way, but if the client does not listen and follow your guidance, then you are fighting a losing battle that is not yours. At the end of the day it is the client who changes himself, not the personal trainer. The personal trainer is just a catalyst and a mentor to that change.

With that, that is where law of consistency comes in. Consistent results breed consistent results. In this sense, consistent results are happening all the time, even when you so happen to be not producing results. I know this may seem like a conundrum at first, but just as in the laws of physics, everything is in a constant state of movement, even if it so happens to be appearing to the senses as not moving. And in the high performance fitness system I teach called Circular Strength Training, our maxim is even immobility is a form of movement. You cannot be not moving and by extension you cannot be not producing results.

So our question then becomes… How do we go about consistently to produce and the results we want in our life and fitness?

Stay tuned! That question will be answered next time!
